There is the region called “The Palouse”, and then there is the town where I live, called “Palouse”.
I don’t hang out downtown all that much even though it’s only one block down the hill from PalouseWorks Studio. I have some of my artwork in the Bank Left Gallery owned and operated by my friends Nelson and Pam Duran.
The other place you might find me once a week or so is the Green Frog Cafe, across the street from the gallery and a very special hangout that serves good coffee, mochas, lattes, and vegetarian cuisine. First Fridays of each month are open mic night. Get there early to claim a seat and listen to some of the best local musicians.
